BUFFALO PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA: CHILDREN'S CONCERT VIDEO

BUFFALO PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA: CHILDREN'S CONCERT VIDEO

For the second time this year, the BPO came to us for help creating video content to be shown at live orchestra concert events. Earlier, we created video accompaniment for a collaborative concert of Mussorgsky's "Pictures At An Exhibition." This time, BPO was looking for a video that they could show before concerts for young children, families, school field trips, etc.

The purpose of the video is to inform young concertgoers about the etiquette of attending a performance by an orchestra, specifically the BPO at Kleinhans Music Hall in Buffalo, NY. Our goal was to take the main messages (be respectful, listen well, don't disturb those around you, what to wear, when to clap, etc., etc.) and present them in a way that was fun and approachable. One thing we learned in this process is that more than anything, the BPO is interested in having young children attend and enjoy!

Cumbo, Inc. produced this spot as a pro-bono volunteer effort in support of BPO. We created it from start to finish, including all aspects of production logistics and management, video direction and post-production.
